Smart Beacon for Vending Machine

Our client is a provider of Vending Machine BLE based payments in the Japan market. They established themselves into the Market with a Linux based IoT beacon that cost approximately $200 based on a design provided by their manufacturing house. They on several occasions attempted to reduce the cost of the beacons but were unable to get the board house to design a significantly cheaper alternative. We took their requirements and produced a new design that cost $70 per unit to manufatcure and provided all previous functionality in a unit that was 1/3 the size.
